Tanjia






Many visitors to Morocco are familiar with Tagine , the classic slow cooked Morrocan meal prepared in a cone shaped clay pot of the same name . The ancient city of Marrakech has a signature slow cooked dish which is even more special The Tanjia


The Tanjia dish is shaped like a greek urn , it is prefectly adapted to be used for slow cooking in the embers of the wood fires burning underneath the many Marrakech hammams public baths .

Oasiria Park



Oasiria is the first water park in Marrakech . It covers 10 hectares and offers wide range of water attractions for the whole family , many parks and recreation and a court for beach volleyball .soccer .
 The park is open round and offers a heated pool in winter 300m

Imlil




Imlil is a small Berber village , off the main road from Marrakech to Taroudant .
it is located 1740m above sea level . it is close to the jbel Toubkal , the highest peak in Northem Africa , and makes a good base for attemping to summit Toubkal.


Imlil is the centre of Mountain tourism in Morocco due to its unique position . From here 90% of Visitors head up to Toubkal , the highest Mountain  in Morocco .Imlil is the end of the tarmac road , and natural place to hir mountain guides and mules for the onward trek

Chellah



Chellah 

The archaeological site of Chellah located in Rabat , Morocco brings together historical and archaeological éléments from the pre-punictime untill the Merinid sultans period .

This site is currently not enhanced or even abanndoned This research focuses on an operational enhancement of the site of Chellah.


This propoposal is based on the changing concepts of heritage , museaums and tourism in the contemporary period in both Europe and Morocco .

The Atlas Mountains




The Atlas Mounatains , Morocco


The Atlas Mountains are in fact three distinct ranges that divide the interior of the country into strips of lower lying land.

The Middle Atlas Mountains are the futhest north , whilst furthest south are the Anti-Atlas almost cut the desolate Western Sahara off from the rest of country.


Toubkal it is the High Atlas that are most dramatic , contraining North Africa's highest peak , Jbel Toubkal ( 4,167 metres) as wekk as ciybtkess Vever villages , terraced on to inaccessible ledges and perfectly preserving a tenacious culture

El Badii Palace



The Badii Palace is an open air account of the successive dynasties which have held sway in Marrakech . it was built in the late 16th century by King Ahmed El mansour of the Saadi dynasty . who spared no expense , filling his home with the best materials and craftsmaship of the age italian marble , Sudanese Gold and intricately carved indian woodwork





The Caves of Hercules



The Caves of Hercules are something of a symbole for Tangier , with their strange Sea window shaped like a map of Africa , The name like Hercules Legendary founding of Tangier is Purely fanciful , But the caves 16 km outside the city and above the Atlantic Beach , make an attractive excursion .
if you feel stating for a few day by the sea , the beach can be a pleasant base too outside of July and August only stay groups of visitors share the long surf beahces .
Take care with currents , however which can be very dangerous even near the store.

Walili



Walili , is an archaelogical site in Morocco situated near Meknes City between Fes and Rabat along the N13  road . The bearest town is Moulay idriss .
Walili features the best preserved Roman ruins in this part of northern Africa in 1997 the site was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site .

Merzouga




Merzouga is a village in the Sahara Desert in Morocco , On the edge of Erg Chebbi , a 50Km long and wide set of sand dunes that reach up to 350m high .
The Most people are here to take a caramel safari into the dunes , and to get a taste of remote Tourism influenced Berber life .

The local population is a mix of Arabs and Bebers and Generally welcoming and Friendly.

Essaouira or Mogador




Essaouira was known as Mogador During the French protocolate 1912 - 1956.
with the independence of Morocco , The town took the official name of Essaouira But the name Mogador appeared for the first time in the world map of Medici in 1357 and On a map designed by Pizzigani 1367 and Portugaise called it Mogaduoro and the Spanish mogadour .
The name Essaouira originale from when the Sultan sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah renewed the city and called it Souira 1767.

The Mausoleum of Mohammed V



The Mausoleum of Mohammed V is a historic building located on the opposite side of the Hassan Tower in Al-Yacoub Mansour esplanade in Rabat, Morocco. It contains the tombs of King of Morocco and his two son, the late King Hassan II and Prince Abdallah. The building is considered a masterpiece of modern architecture Alawite dynasty, with its white silhouette, wearing a green tiled roof typical. Its construction was completed in 1971. Hassan II was buried after his death in 1999.

Dakhla



Dakhla is a small town around 1000km south of Essaouira , Located on a 48km Long and wide peninsula which stretches into the Atlantic Ocean , creating a Huge Lagoon.

The Location of Our Club mistral wind and kitesurf center is on the north eastern coast of that peininsula.
The huge sandy lagoon provides fantastic conditions with constant winds throughout the whole year , flat water and more than enough space.

Dakhla is a diamond in the rough , a new born watersports mecca which you won't time in the whole wide world.

Mountains Toubkal




Mountains Toubkal is the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains , it is a non-technical summit requiring only a reasonable degree of fitness and determination .
Toubkal is easily reached from Marrakech and lays at the heart of a network of trekking trails that offer striking high altitude mountains scenery , lush vallerys abd relatively untouched Berber communities.
Toubkal Mountains is climable year round , albeit in winter from November - May snow settles above 3000m and crampons and ice axes are required.

The Almouravid Koubba



The Almoravid Koubba is next to the Museum of Marrakech and near to the mosque of Ben Youssef .
It is the only remaining example of Almoravid architecture in Marrakech .it was built in 1117 , was restructured in the sixteenth and nineteenth century, was redscovered in 1948 and excavated in 1952 , after having being buried beneath one of the outbuildings of the Ben Youssef Mosque. 
The Almouravid were Berber dynasty of Morocco , who formed an empire in the 11 th century that stretched over the western Maghreb and Al-Andalus .
They capital was Marrakesh ,a city w which they founded in 1062 .

The Menara Garden



The Menara Garden are gardens Located to the west of Marrakech , Morocco , at tje gates of the Atlas Mountains , They were built in the 12th century by the Almohad ruler Abdel Mamun .
The name Menara derives from the pavillon with its small green pyramid roof.
The pavillon was built during the 16th century Saad dynastry and renovated in 1869 by sultad Abderrahmane of Morocco , who used to stay here in summertime.

Bahia Place


The Bahia Place is a Place and a set of Garden Located in Marrakech , Morocco .
it was built in the late 19th century , intended to be the greatest oakace of its time. The name means Brilliance as in other buildings of the period in other countries .
it was intended to capture the essence of the islamic and Moroccan style .there is a 2 acre . 8,000 m² .
Garden with room openin onto courtyards .
set up at the end of 19th century by Si Moussa , this place would bear the name of one of his wives .

Majorelle

Majorelle Garden is a twelve acre botanical in Marrakesh , Morocco. it was designed by the expatriale French Jaques Majorelle in The 1920s and 1930s , during the colonial period when Morocco was a protectorate of France .The Garden has been open to the public since 1947. since 1980 the garden has been owned by Yves saint laurant and pierre bergé .After Yver Saint Laurent died in 2008 his ashed were scattered in the Majorelle Garden

Tha Jamaa El Fna


The Jamaa El Fna Square is one of the man cultural spaces in Marrakesh and has become one of the symbols of the city since the foundation in the eleventh centry .it represents a unique concentration of popular cultural traditions performed through musical , religious and artistic expressions.

Located at the entrance of the Medina , this troa,gular square , which surrounded by restaurants , standards and public buildings, Provides everyday commercial activities and various forms of entertaiment .it is a meeting point for both the local population and people from elsewhere .All through the day .and well to the night a variely of services are offered such as dental care; traditional medicine , fortune-telling , peaching and henna tattoing,water,fruit and traditional food my be bought . in addition , one can enjoy performances by storyllers,poets ,snake-chamers,berbers musicians olso Gnaoua dancers .

The koutoubia Mosque



The Koutoubia Mosque Located near the Djemaa el fnaa . is The Largest mosque in Marrakesh 
it is fames especially for its magnificent minaret , the oldest of the three great Almohad minarets remaning in the world .

History of Koutoubia Mosque 



Construction on the Koutoubia mosque began shortly after the Almohad consquest of Marrakech city .
around 1150 . Built on the site of an 11th century Almoravid mosque.
it was completed during The reign of Sultan Yacoub El Mansour (1184-99)
its name comes from the Arabic for Book Yacoub , Because thereWas originally a Book market nearby.
